Born in Reno, Nevada in 1946, Brady attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland before entering the University of California, Davis, where he received his MFA in 1975. Brady has lectured and taught workshops nationally and internationally and was a Professor of Art at California State University, Sacramento for 33 years. In addition to being exhibited widely across the country, his works can be found in public collections at the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento; di Rosa Preserve, Napa; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Oakland Museum of Art; and San Francisco Museum of Art to name a few.
